I see downtown and attend a Fourth Friday. I get excited when I see
people move here with their families and say what a great place this
is. I like to talk to people who have had a good experience at the
hospital. I like to see kids at the library. The list is
endless.’’
Advice to others: ‘‘Get up out of the chair. Shut the TV
off. Get up and get involved. Meet new people.”
Most recent accomplishment: Recipient of the Kiwanis Club
of Fayetteville’s E.J. Wells Cup for the ‘‘Most Outstanding Civic
Contribution’’ in 2002.
